Eric Lamaze and Fine Lady impress in La Baule
This afternoon the CSIO5* riders took the start in La Baule. A total of 64 combinations gave their best in Frédéric Cottier's build course. Only seven pairs produced a clear round within the time allowed of 80 seconds.

Fort he home crowd the world number one, France's Simon Delestre, was the favorit to beat. Together with Qlassic Bois Margot, Delestre finished with two time penalties. Some of the best riders didn't succeed in conquering the class faultless. Kevin STaut and Elky van het Indihof HDC finished with one rail down. The same verdict was also for Bertram Allen and Romanov.

However it seemed like Canada's former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze, had no issue with the 1.50m class. Together with Fine Lady 5 the pair set the fastest clear time. Belgium's number one lady, Gudrun Patteet did her best, but had to settle second with Sea Coast Atlantic. The stage was completed by Stephan De Freitas Barcha and Quentin PJ.
