The third week in Mijas offered an international starters field with the young horses. With the 6-year-olds it was Felipe Rmos Guinato and Carlotta (by Contendro I) who finished on top. Belgium's Maxime Harmegnies and his sBs-horse Elastique van de Koekoek (by Golden Hawk) followed as runner-ups. Diego Perez-Bilbao, who placed on top yesterday, repeated his form finishing third with Kansas vd Withoeve (by Prince van de Wolfsakker).
With the five-year-old horses it was a belgian dominance as Cassandre Malherbe topped the class aboard Come What May Z (Chippendale Z x Laudatus). The combination crossed the finish in 42,45 seconds and was followed by Maxime Harmegnies aboard Germio (Spartacus TN x Montender).
