Finland claims opening class CSI5* in Helsinki

Finnish rider Sanna Backlund started last in today's opening international opening class in Helsinki, but finished first. Backlund jumping fourteen-year-old Wilhelmina (Indoctro) to first place in 25,77 seconds. Estonian Rein Pill and Alfons Ra (Aromats) had to settle for second place with a time of 26,33 seconds.

The third and fourth place both went to France with Aldrick Cheronnet on Atlantys By Wisbecq (Argentinus) and Gregory Cottard with Urhelia Lutterbach (Helios de la Cour II). Russian rider Alexandr Belekhov jumped his Holsteiner Chapter (Colandro) to fifth place after a clear round.
