France speeds to victory in Knokke
At the new CSI5* 'Knokke Hippiqe', organized in what they call, the Monaco of Belgium - Knokke - it was French show jumper Julien Epaillard who claimed victory in the first five star class. Set at a height of 1.40m Epaillard and Pigmalion de Rozel (by Le Tot de Semilly) finished in 50.84 seconds. From the 52 starters, only 24 classified for the jump-off. However none of them beat Epaillard's time.

British Laura Renwick followed in a second place aboard her Belgian Warmbred Beluga. The pair finished in 51.26 seconds. Last year's Stephex Masters Grand Prix Winner, Ken Farrington, had to be satisfied with a third place in the ranking. Together with Waomi he left former Belgian Champion, Jerome Guery and Famoso d'Ive z in a fourth place.

The top five was completed by Carlos Lopez and Zorina VDL. Riding (sort of) on her own competition, Stephex-rider, Jonna Ekberg, finished sixth with STX-horse, Freestyler.
