Germany Colors the win in Budapest
The Christmas pre-present for Amke Stroman (GER) is her victory in Sunday’s FEI World Cup of Budapest.
The 1.60m track set by the course designer László Karádi (HUN) counted 12 obstacles and 15 efforts in the first round. With faults spreading out all over the track, only two combinations clearing their way into the jump-off.
The first pair to go clear in the first round was Sára Hollé on the 10 years old stallion, Clintus. Hollé went on to produce a steady clear round over the shortened, seven fence track in the jump off. With stopping the clock at 41,93 seconds, she let some seconds to shave off by the next rider.

Starting second in the jump-off, Amke Stroman and the 11 years old mare, Forchello kept the fences intact and took over the lead with a time of 36,16 seconds.

With the fastest four penalty, Gerfried Puck placed third in the Grand Prix.

Previous competitions

Zsófia Ábrahám and Don Lino repeated their Friday victory in a close competition in the 1.15m VIP Tour, with the fastest clear. The second place goes to the yesterday winner, Emma Zólyomi and Rádiháza Csacsacsa.
Riding the nine years old Vincento 6, the Hungarian champion Szabolcs Krucsó produced the fastest clear in the 1.25m final round of the Bronze Tour. Amke Stroman and Nena 123 took the runner-up position reprezenting Germany.
Balázs Horváth and PM La Conta Z won the 1.35m Silver Tour out of 88 riders. The best foreign rider, Gerfried Puck from Austria placed 6th with Ludowig.
