Eventually there was no need for a Jump-Off as Germany claimed victory with a total of only 5 points. Marcus Ehning and Philipp Weishaupt both produced a clear round.
Marcus Ehning trusted in his Comme Il Faut 5 (Cornet Obolensky), while Philipp Weishaupt took the start aboard Asathir (Diamant de Semilly). Maurice Tebbel and Chaccos' Son (Chacco Blue) finished with one jumping and time fault while Hans-Dieter Dreher and the 10-year-old Berlin-daughter, Berlinda collected a total of nine points.
Team USA placed as runner up. Only Alex Granato kept it clear with Carlchen W (Chacco-Blue). Also Lucy Deslauriers and her beautiful 13-year-old Hester (Wandor van de Mispelaere) left the rails untouched, but crossed the finish with one time fault.
The Brazilian team followed as third on stage.
