Gianni Govoni closes the day in Arezzo with another Italian victory
The Italian riders continue to perform outstanding at their home competition in Arezzo. After providing the winner of the Silver Tour Final, also the victory in the Gold Tour's main class of today stayed in Italy.

Gianni Govoni and his Chin Chin - mare Winn Winn speeded to the pole position in this 1.50m - Longines ranking class with two phases. Staying clear within a time of 38:82 seconds, the combination improved the time-to-beat of intermediate leader in the class, Emilio Bicocchi. Counting on his mount, the Holsteiner Sassicaia Ares (by Ephebe), Bicocchi finished the second phase of the course, built parcours designer Santiago Varela, clear in 40:28 and ended up on 2nd place. Robin Muhr from France and his Corrado - son Unforgettable Damvil came in third, with a clear second phase in 40:88 seconds.

Another French rider, Nicolas Deseuzes, competing with the 13-years-old mare Quilane de Lezeaux (by Grenat de Grez) was ranked 4th after crossing the finish line at 41:14 seconds. The top 5 were completed by Dutch Jur Vrieling and the Diamant de Semilly - daughter Acascia. The combination stayed off the rails and stopped the time at 41:33 seconds.
