Home riders off to a good start at Baltica Summer Tour

While most of the world is looking at Rio for the Equestians at the Olympics of 2016 in Poland at Ciekocinko Stables  the Baltica Summer Tour that goes on for two weeks is off to a great start for the home riders with Jaroslaw  Skrzyczynski taking the win in the CSI2* qualifier for the Grand Prix.

In the Silver Tour qualifier over two-phases is was Skrzyczynski who rode his Lambi to the fastest time of 21.44. Just staying ahead of Aleksandr Lis and his gelding Impuls 2 from Belarus,. The pait crossed the finish line 0.40 seconds later and had to settle for second place.

The rest of the top 5 was also dominated by home nation Poland with Krzysztof Ludwiczak finishing in third after a ride in 22.24 onboard Quintender mare Queen La Balou. And Michael Kazmierczak  (Chica) taking fourth place infront of winner Jaroslaw  Skrzyczynski who finished in fifth with his second horse Quiro 5.

In the 1.45 Gold Tour it was again the Polish flag that got raised during the price giving when Maksymilian Wechta  and the Polish bred Celtia II beat Swiss Clarissa Crotta by a margin of 0.42 seconds, who crossed the finish line on Druid HHZ in 31.73 seconds. Kristupas Petraitis  finished in third place staying clear in 32.97 seconds during the second phase of the course with Lordano.

During the Gold Tour accumulator class over 1.40m it was Msciwoj Kiecon who defended the Polish honors with a third place behind Luxemburg's Marcel Ewen and winner Santiago Diaz Ortega from Colombia. All three riders got the maximum amount of points, but Diaz Ortega and Carlson were clearly the fastest leaving Kiecon (69.13 sec.) and Ewen (68.34 sec.) far behind  with a time of 65.61 seconds.
