Ignace Philips and   Paloma de Crozals take the first wins in Cannes
The Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes has officially kicked-off with the first CSI1* classes. In the 1.25m it was Belgium's Ignace Philips and the 7-year-old Corland-Mare, Cubia who claimed the victory. The pair stopped the clock in 31.89 seconds, over four seconds faster as the runner-up.

A total of 38 combinations took the start in this speed class.  Germany's Gabriela Thoma and Lolita N (by Lamentons) followed in a second place after a clear finish in 35.81 seconds. France's Olivier Bergonzi and Quidam's Coquard finished third. Only 10 combinations crossed the finish faultless. The top five was completed by Leonora Smee aboard Waltons Top Flightand Arnaud Dubois with Ulambaya Dodville in fourth and fifth.

In the opening 1.10m class France dominated the class. Paloma de Crozals took home the win aboard Riva Hoy, after a clear finish in 31.54 seconds. Patricia Bardon Planchat and Quadrille de la Cour followed in a second place.  Ray Mackenzie and Valse de Boguin completed the stage.
