Ireland's Daniel Coyle dominates first day at Lexington's Split Rock
The first day at the International Split Rock Series CSI3* in Lexington, the day concluded with the USD 35,000 Hollow Creek Farm Speed Class. It was Ireland's Daniel Coyle who dominated the class. Coyle and the 11-year-old Fortis Fortuna (by Quidam de Revel) stopped the clock in 58.64 seconds. Later the Irish show jumper topped that time aboard the 8-year-old Tienna (by For Pleasure). The pair speeded to victory after a faultless track in 57.74 seconds.

 

USA's Alison Robitaille followed in a third place with the 11-year-old Welcome Sympatico-son, Sensation 21. The combination crossed the finish in 62.83 seconds. The top five was completed by Richie Moloney with Slieveannora (by Voltare) and Michael Morrissey aboard La Lopez (by Lenardo). A total of 20 combinations finished clear.

In the 1.30m VisitLex Medium Jr/AO Jumpers 12 combinations produced a clear first round. Eventually it was Natalie Thornell and Coeur de Semilly who took home the win. The pair finished their jump-off clear in 33.565 seconds. Liza Stockstill and Ultime de Bloye followed as runner-up after a clear round in 33.89 seconds. Kady Abrahamson and Bugatti completed the stage.
