Irish riders beat British competitors in Nations Cup of Hickstead
Not the British won the Nations Cup on home ground in Hickstead today. Instead, the Irish team claimed the trophy. They won with a total of 16 penalties in a time of 41,29 seconds during the jump-off. The Irish riders were Trevor Breen, Richie Molony, Michael Duffy and Anthony Condon. It was Condon who ensured an Irish victory after finishing clear with SFS Aristo (Arko III) in the jump-off.

The second rider in that jump-off was Holly Smith with Hearts Destiny (Stolzenberg) for Great Britain. They also went clear, but took a little more time with 43,39 seconds and put team Britain in second place with also 16 penalties. Brazil finished third with 20 penalties.
