Italy jumps to glory in Nations Cup victory in Sankt Gallen
A total of eight countries battled it out today in the FEI CSIO5* Nations Cup event in Switzerland's Sankt Gallen. Just like last week in Rome it was the Italian team jumping to victory during the FEI Nations Cup leg.

Paolo Paini and the 11-year-old Ottava Meraviglia di Ca'San G (by For Pleasure) jumped together one time penalty in the two round. Both Lorenzo de Luca and his 15-year-old Armitages Boy (by Armitage) and Luc Marziani with Tokyo du Soleil (by Montender) finished with a total of one jumping fault, resulting in four points. Emilio Bicocchi and Ares Sassicaia joined his compatriots to flory in this Nations Cup victory.

The home-team, representing Switzerland placed second with a total of twelve points. Martin Fuchs (Clooney 51), Paul Estermann (Lord Pepsi), Steve Guerdat (Bianca) and Romain Duguet (Twentytwo des Biches) followed second with a difference of three points on Italy.

The German jumping squad completed the stage in this Nations Cup competition. While the Belgium team, who isn't selected in the Division I, placed fourth.
