The second week of the Royal West Horseshow concluded its day with the 1.45 FEI CSI3* -class. Hosted in the Royal West Stampede in Calgary, Canada, this international show is one of the first equestrian events to try out the new facilities. Eventually host John C. Anderson and his Terrific had to be satisfied with a third spot in the 1.45m class. Kyle King (Quigley) took home the victory and was followed by Tamie Phillips (Cat Balou). The top five was completed by Karen Cudmore (Southern Pride) and former Olympic Jill henselwood (Bolero HX).

Just before the Open Jumper class was set at a height of 1.30m. It proved to be a very exciting competition with many possibilities to win some time in this speed track. Short turns were made, risks were taken. But the fastest clear round was for Jill Henselwood and Coup de Chance (former Gondor van den Oude Eik). This 8 years old grey gelding was recently sold from Belgium and already proved to be a star to watch.

Kyle King (Sig White Chocolate) followed in a second place while Glenn Deveron (Jacqueline Colborne) completed the stage.
