Joe Whitaker secures British win at CSI Twente
Whilst the Belgian reign the morning classes at the CSI in Twente it was Joe Whitaker who took over in the afternoon. During the Rabobank Price over 1.50m the young Brit stayed ahead of  Dutch local Robert Vos and took home a brand new Mercedes Mini.

With 15 riders securing a spot in the jump-off of the qualifier for this sundays Grand Prix the battle for the win was on when young Dutchmen Sander  Geerink directly clocking a fast round of 33.35 seconden aboard Robinson (v. Rubert R). However with the strong field following he could not hold his top  spot and finnaly finished on fourth spot behind the only 18 year old Lucas Porter from the USA.

Home based rider Robert Vos, living a mere 10 minutes from Geesteren with his Wierden based stables, had the crowds cheering as he passed the finish after a brilliant round with his top horse Carat (v. ). But is was not good enough to keep Whitaker  his fast mare Lola V at bay.  The British duo had already shown there speed in the first round and shifted to second gear to take home the win in a clear round of 32.46.
