At full speed, Epaillard went through the course with his Toupie De La Roque (v. Kannan) to stop the clock at 57.43 seconds. That was a lot faster as Foster who needed 59.28 seconds with the KWPN bred horse Brighton (v. Contendro II. Baryard Johnsson and H&M Second Chance followed the Canadian in third place. She needed only two tenths of a second longer with her Holsteiner mare and became third just in front of "teammate" Peder Fredericson.
Fredericson had saddled his H&M Carat Desite (v. Carinjo) for the 1.50m class and just missed out on a top 3 spot by two hundred of a seconds. Maikel van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Quatro (v. Quaprice Diomargot Quincy) means business today. They rode a smooth and fast course in 60.65 seconds and settled in the sixth place in-between the Frenchmen Jerome Hurel and Philip Rozier.
