Mandy Porter takes the victory in $36,500 Desert Classic Thermal
The North American League of the Longines FEI World Cup keeps going on in Thermal. The big class on Friday was the $36,500 Desert Classic over a height of 1.50m. 15 combinations entered the arena for this class.

It was Mandy Porter who kept the victory in the USA. With the bay stallion Coral Reef Follow me II (s. For Pleasure) she rode two clear rounds with a time of 41.67 seconds in jump-off. She was just a little bit faster than the French rider Eric Navet, who was also clear with the eleven year old gelding Basimodo (s. Quasimodo Z). They finished in a time of 41.71 seconds. Germany's Christian Heineking ended in third place with NKH Quanto (s. Quidam de Revel) after a clear jump-off in 42.24 seconds.

The top five was completed by Mandy Porter with Milano (s. Orlando) and Peter Petschenig with Saint Quentin (s. Quidam de Revel). They finished with respectively a clear round in 42.30 seconds and 4 penalties in 41.03 seconds.
