Aboard her 10-year-old Bintang II (by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve) Renwick finished with four points. Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts and H&M Challenge v. Begijnakker were the first to set a clear round. Finishing with one jumping fault British Jessica Mendoza was the only rider with a jumping fault going through to the second round.
Marco Kutscher and Van Gogh were the last ones to enter the jump-off. The pair already took home the Los Angeles Master Grand Prix and now secured the win in Hong Kong as well. Finishing clear in 45.16 seconds Kutscher and the Numero Uno-son secured the extra bonus of 250,000.00 Euro.
France's Kevin Staut and and For Joy van 't Zorgvliet HDC (by For Pleasure) rode an impressive last line leaving out one stride towards their last fence. In the end the pair finished second. They were followed by Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano with the amazingly jumping Caspar 232 (by Casper).
The top five was completed by Simon Delestre (Chesall Zimequest) and Bertram Allen (Hector van d'Abdijhoeve) in fourth and fifth.
Marco Kutscher is the first rider ever to win two legs in the Longines Masters Series.
