It was a very exciting day today in the German city of Balve. Today, everything was about the German Championship for Show Jumping. The riders competed in two rounds, and in the end it was Mario Stevens with Talisman de Mazure (Quaprice du Bois Margot) who won the ultimate title. In the first round, the pair gathered a penalty for time in both courses, in the second round they added another point during the second course. And so they won with three penalties.
The rest of the top five all got four penalties. Guido Klatte Jr. and Qinghai (Quidam de Revel) took the second place because of their fast time. Michael Kölz and Anpowikapi (Askari) finished third, followed by Harm Lahde with Oak Grove's Vogelfrei (VDL Groep Verdi TN). Carsten-Otto Nagel and Chairman 20 (Casall ASK) finished the top five.
