Aboard A.J. van der Vlist's breeding product, Cognac du Vlist, Guillon jumped to victory in 58.54 seconds. The 10-year-old Gelding was before competed by Constant van Paesschen in China and Leon Thijssen in Europe. After placing second in the 1.40m morning class, Jeroen De Winter settled for runner-up in this 1.45m class as well. De Winter and Randy Sherman's former Zafira (Con Air 7) followed in 60.79 seconds.
Local show jumping rider Maodong Yuan completed the stage with Syrius du Bocage (Bonhomme II). Hong Kong's Patrick Lam followed as fourth with Freedom (Advance). Dutch show jumping rider, Vincent Vermeulen completed the top five aboard Dancing Blue (VDL Zirocco Blue NOP).
