Aboard A.J. van der Vlist's breeding product, Cognac du Vlist, Guillon jumped to victory in 36.68 seconds. The 10-year-old Gelding was before competed by Constant van Paesschen in China and Leon Thijssen in Europe. Local show jumping rider, Tongyan Liu followed as runner-up with his 11-year-old Holstein-sire, Yu Long Qi Ji ( Cachas). The pair stopped the clock in 37.36 seconds.
As well as in under 38 seconds it was Hong Kong's Patrick Lam who completed the stage aboard the 9-year-old KWPN-sire, Freedom. Lam's compatriot, Kenneth Cheng followed in a fourth place with one jumping fault. Cheng and Chaccopia (Chacco-Blue) were followed by Belgium's Steve Lefevre and Chalano Gold (Chacco Blue).
