Parmler wins Medium Tour Final at de Peelbergen

With nearly twenty riders placed in the jump-off for the Emmers Prix it was going to be an exciting battle for the number one spot in the Medium Tour Final tonight. But in the end it seemed it were the international riders that finally got to call the shots at the entire top five consisted of non-Dutch riders. The win was for the Netherlands based Swedish Malin Parmler, giving the victory just a little bit of that “home” win feeling.

It looked like another Dutch win when Kevin Olsmeyer put in a fast round with Dalvaro 2 (by Calvaro Z) of 45.06 seconds. But from then on it only went faster and faster, having Olsmeyer finally finishing on zeventh place. One of them was Belgian rider Dimitri Teaijmans who put in a very good competitive round of 42.50 seconds with his Don's Diamant (by Diamant de Semily).

But it was not enough to stop the best round of the day that came from Parmler and het KWPN mare Dagma (by Tangeo van de Zuuthoeve). The duo clocked a super round of 42.23 seconds as twelfth combination going into the jump-off pushing Teaijmans down to second place and Isheau Wong and het Zadarijke V (by San Reme), that had won the Grand Prix of Mierlo earlier this year, to third position.

German rider Christopher Kläsener and Queen Luca (by Quadam's Rubin) finished in fourth place. With Canadian Jacklyn Duff, who has been winning Grand Prixs all over Europe this summer, finished in fifth on the 9 year-old gelding Caesar Z (by Chopin).
