Patrice Delaveau was the fastest in the jump-off with 18 horse-rider combinations. Aboard Lacrimoso 3*HDC the rider from Normandy finished clear in 34.27 seconds. Delaveau took every risk possible taking home the win.
Germany's Daniel Deusser and the Clintop-son followed in a second place. Jan Tops' Piergiorgio Bucci (Cuarta) and Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat (Corbinian) shared the third place, both finishing clear in 36.02 seconds. The top five was completed by Qatar's Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani and the 10-year-old Andiamo-son First Devision.
A total of nine pairs finished the jump-off faultless.
