Nine combinations stayed clear on the tough course at the CSI3 * Grand Prix and went on in a jump-off to claim the top spot. In front of his home crowd it was Devos who excelled with his champion horse Espoir (by Surcouf de Revel) by riding a fantastic round in 36.94 seconds. Like at the Worlcup competition in Oslo no one had an answer to the time set by the Belgian rider. Even Guerdat and his Worldcup winning Corbinian (v. Cornet Obolensky) had to give in to Devos today. The Swiss rode a fast round but stopped clock at 38.01 seconds, just a little bit slower.
The always on quick on his feet Swedish Von Eckermann and Olympic horse Yajamila (Lux Z) also fell short to claim victory. They finished in third just in front of Gregory Wathelet who just missed a spot on the podiumwith his top horse Coree (Cornet Obolensky) afte riding a clear in 39.57. The stunning Jonna Ekberg closed up the top five after a ride of 39.57 seconds aboard Hidalgo VG.
Honerable mentions have to go to Jerome Guery who almost had victory in hand with Garfield Tiji des Templiers. He came very close with a ride in 37.34 seconds but unfortunately the paird drop a bar and finished on sixth place.
