Poznan; Jaroslaw defends the Polish colours victoriously
In Poland it's time for the CSI three star competition in Poznan. The day started with a 1m35 course against the clock. In total 79 combinations entered this morning and only 21 knew how to keep a clean round.

The big win was for Germany's Harm Lahde and his Dutch bred mare Oak Grove's Flickering Star (v. Flipper D'Elle) who completed his round in 54.23 seconds. He beated the time of Luxembourgs Marcel Ewen who took his nine year old gelding Chinok D'Obri (v. Convento) around the course in 54.57 seconds, taking home the second place. Belgiums Christophe Vanderhasselt completed the top three with his Belgium bred mare Identity Vitseroel (v. Air Jordan Z). They finished in 56.48 seconds.

For Adam Grzegorzewski and his Centroplast Dinar (v. Qulester) it was a fourth place, followed by Malgorzata Koszucka and the mare Charlene (v. Clarimo) who finished at a fifth place.

Later in the day a 1m40 two phases course was next. Taking home the win was Polands own Koza Lukasz and his eleven year old gelding Chito Blue by Chacco Blue who finished with a double clear round in only 25.94 seconds. Belgiums Vincent Lambrecht took home the second place with the Balou du Rouet son Bogota. They finished in 26.72 seconds. It was here that Polish rider Malgorzata Koszucka was succesful again. This time she saddled her Quinchella (v. Quintero) taking home a third place in 27.16 seconds.

The day in Poland concluded with a 1.45m set heigh class. Jaroslaw Skrzyczysnki kept vicotry in own country aboard the 8-year-old Quintella (by Sanvaro). The pair crossed the finish clear in 55.38 seconds, finishing over two seconds faster as Tuganov Vladimir. Russia's Tuganov and the Hannoverian mare Sinfonie 168 (by Satisfaction) stopped the time in 57.42 seconds. The stage was completed by Christian Kukuk and his brown stallion Limonchello NT (by Lord Caletto).

The top five of the main class was completed by Dutch Jur Vrieling (Zypern III, by Casall) and Belgium's Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen with Be Cool (by Vanoverbeek).

 

Ook bij de jonge paarden wist Boy-Adrian zich te klasseren. Ditmaal reed hij met de zevenjarige Zangersheide merrie naar de zesde plaats. Hij bleef over de twee fasen foutloos en dit in 30.32 seconden.
