Ramzy Al Duhami (KSA) took the first win of the 2015 Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna with his 14 year old bay gelding Al Capone in the opening CSI5* competition today presented by Icuras. Second place went to Amer Hamcho (SYR) on his grey gelding Al Murtajiz, and third place was taken by national rider Max Kühner (AUT) and Cornet Kalua.

Visitors packed the grandstands opposite the impressive Rathaus backdrop to witness the world’s best horses and riders take to the sand arena for the 2 phase competition. 50 starters from 23 different countries lined up to compete in the first CSI5* competition of the three day event and it was a chance to see the world’s best combinations flex their muscles for the first time in Austria.
