RIP world champion, Cumano

On the facebook page of Stal Lansink, the sad news was announced that the Holsteiner Stallion Cumano (Cassini) passed away. The world champion of 2006 became 25 years old. With Jos Lansink in the saddle, the stallion became world champion in Aken in 2006.

One year later, in 2007, the pair won the silver medal at the European Championship in Mannheim. Also in Spruce Meadows, the combination jumped great with great rankings as result. In 2004, the pair won the Grand Prix and 3 years later, there was a second place and in 2008 a third place in Spruce Meadows.

During the CHIO Aken in 2011, the grey Stallion was retired from the sport.
