Robert Smith jumped to the victory in the Speed and Handiness of Bordeaux

Before the World Cup tonight in Bordeaux there was a speed & handiness class. It was the British Robert Smith that took the victory. He rode Cimano E (by Unaniem) and went through the finish in a time of 61.85 seconds. The two won in December also the CSI4* of Salzburg and this summer the CSI5* of Gijon.


The Frenchman Julien Epaillard almost made it a home victory but had to settle for the second place. He rode Sheriff de la Nutria LM (by Diamant de Semilly) and stopped the clock in 62.43 seconds, originally he had a time of 58.43 seconds. The third place was for the Portuguese Mario Wilson Fernandes. He sat in the saddle of Tidelio Des Nauves (by Fidelio du Thot) and went through the finish in 62.75 seconds.


The Belgian rider Nicola Philippaerts rode with H&M Quenzo de la Roque (by Kannan) and had an original time of 59.51 seconds but due to a fault he went to a time of 63.51 seconds which brought him to the fourth place. The top five was completed by the Swiss Steve Guerdat with Albfuehren's Happiness (by Heartbeat) in a time of 63.67 seconds.
