Samual Parot wins sixth $35,000 WEF Challenge Cup

Samual Parot wins sixth $35,000 WEF Challenge Cup
None came close to the Chillian rider Samual Parot in Wellington today.  With his Atlantis (by Andiamo) he was so fast that not even Pedro Junqueira Muyleart from Uruguay or USA's Laura Chapot could catch up with him

Parot and his Zangersheide gelding have had a good end of 2016 with top ranking during CSI4* Thermal. At the WEF in  Wellinton the pair had also done well, but did not come close to a win. Today that had to change and with 16 riders in the jump-off he had to go full out for the win in the Challenge Cup sponsored by Ruby Et Violette.

The pair kept up the pace from start till end and crossed the finish line in 31.94 seconds. Muyleart who was aboard stallion Prince Royal Z MFS followed nearly 2 seconds later and claimed second prize. Chapot and ISHD Dual Star (by Quick Star) made it a close call for the number two spot by putting 33.79 seconds on the clock. Only a tenth of a second slower as Muyleart.

The top five was completed by Canadian Jonathon Millar on Bonzay (by Numero) Uno and Stephanie Maciera who rode Randon Pleasure (by For Pleasure) to the fifth sport in 37.63 seconds.
