Scott Brash speeds to amazing victory in Lyon

Set in two rounds the evening class in Lyon was promising exciting sport. It looked like Mark McAuley was going for victory in the 1.50m Longines Ranking class. Aboard the 14-year-old Miebello (Flyinge Quite Easy) the Irish show jumping rider made a double clear in 39.56 seconds. Last rider at the start, Scott Brash however did beat that time.

Together with the 9-year-old Hello Mr President (Comme d'Api Jr) Brash speeded to victory. Janika Sprunger completed the stage after a double clear with her Nintender-son, Ninyon.

With one time penalty Christian Ahlmann followed in fourth. In the saddle of Color (Coriano) he advanced on home-rider, Olivier Robert with Windows vh Costerveld-son, Vangog du Mas Garnier.
