Sweetnam secures Irish Grand Prix win in Wellington
The exciting 216.000 dollar Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida just came to a exciting end that saw Irish rider Shane Sweetnam take home the grand prize of 71.000 dollar.

USA's course builder Ken Krome had a total of 17 clear rounds over his course in this 43 rider counting international four star Grand Prix. During the crowded jump-off it was Ireland's Sweetnam who jumped to victory aboard his Zangersheide bred Chaqui Z (by Chacco-Blue). The pair that helped secure the Nation Cup win in Wellington earlier this week crossed the finish line in 41.79 seconds.

Sweetnam's "team captain" golden team mete Conor Swail followed in second place with his LS La Silla (by HH Rebozo). Swail stopped the clock in 41.82 seconds beating USA's Ali Wolff who finished in third place. Aboard her Cassall Wolff crossed the finish in 43.02 seconds.

The top 5 was completed by Beezue Madden and het coach (by Con Air 7) on fourth place. Followed by Britains Jessica Mendoza who finished in fifth with Toy Boy.
