Switzerland claims Nations Cup victory in Rabat
Friday's CSIO3* Nations Cup of Rabat at the Morocco Royal Tour went to Switzerland. On Friday the Swiss team jumped to victory  in the 1.45m three-star Nations Cup.

In a strange turn of events, Alsharbatly seemingly was disqualified after the first round because of the blood rule. However the pair was allowed to start their second round. It didn't make any difference still...

Switzerland jumped to glory with Nadja Peter Steiner on Saura de Fondcombe (Balou du Rouet x Paladin des Ifs), Alain Jufer on Rahmannshof Tic Tac (Contact van de Heffinck x Fuego du Prelet), Aurelia Loser on Quelmec du Gery (Pamphile x Jasper) and Pius Schwizer on Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin) as a part of the team.

Quelmec du Gery was in the past competed by France's Pénélope Leprévost and former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze.

Following the first round, the Swiss had a total of eight penalties after a clear round from Peter Steiner and four faults apiece for the remaining three riders. However, with clear rounds in round two from Peter Steiner, Loser and Schwizer the Swiss team rode themselves up to take the top honours.

After sitting in pole position on a clean sheet following round one, France fell down the ranks as round two was jumped collecting twelve faults – finishing in runner-up position. Julia Dallamano was double clear for the team riding Hoepala vh Daalhof (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Clinton I).

On a total of 24 faults followed Italy, that took the third place.
