The French finally get their home win at  Saut Hermès in Paris
Today is top class event Saut Hermès in Paris got on its way. And after two foreign victories in the dome of the Grand Palais there finally is that home win the French audience was waiting for. In the speed class is was Patrice Delaveau who beat his fellow countryman Roger Yves Bost in the Prix Hermès Sellier.

The French top rider and his stallion Carinjo HDC (v. Cascavelle) were just to fast with their time in 56.54 seconds for Bosty and Pegase du Murier (v. Adelphos). The former European champion had to settle for a second playce today. As he crossed the finish line with his powerful jumping gray stallion in 57.19 seconds.

Pius Schwizer and Leonard de la Ferme CH (v. Landjuweel) put in a great clear round of 58.80 seconds to be placed third.

Closely following the Swiss rider was Belgian Jérôme Guery who had saddled his top stallion Papillon Z (v. Perhaps v Berkenbroeck).  The pair put a nice clear round of 58.98 seconds on the clock. A time which he fell short by 18 hundredths to claim a spot on the podium.

The top five was completed by another French combination. Philippe Rozier and his Selle Francais gelding Reveur the Kergana (v. Hornet Rose) followed only 6 hundredths after behind Guery to take fifth place.
