Third time is a charm... Europe wins Riders Masters Cup in Paris
Last year the European show jumping team won the Riders Masters Cup in both Paris and New York. This year Rob Ridland and his USA team were set for a rematch. Although from the beginning the European show jumpers took the lead and did hold on.

For the USA five riders took the start. Taylor Alexander with the 13-year-old Ryanair de Riverland (Quick Star) teamed up with McLain Ward with Contagious (Contagio), Jessica Springsteen in the saddle of RMF Chacco Top (Chacco-Blue) and with Tiger Lily (Balou du Rouet), Laura Kraut aboard Curious George (Codex One) and youth rider, Lucas Porter with Diamonte Darco (Unbelievable Darco).

In the first round only Jessica Springsteen and RMF Chacco top (Chacco-Blue) won their duel, agains Harry Charles with the 12-year-old Rebeca Ls (Rebozo La Silla).

The European team was represented by Eduardo Alvarez Aznar aboard Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot (L'Arc de Triomphe), Edward Levy with the 12-year-old Rebeca LS (Rebozo la Silla), Maikel van der Vleuten in the saddle of the Quasimodo Z-daughter, Idi Utopia and Daniel Deusser with Jasmien v Bisschop (Larino).

With a total of 125 points team Europe won over team USA that collected 100 points.
