ROMANIAN RIDER CLAIMS VICTORY IN THE COMPETITION FOR YOUNG HORSES
Sunday started with the final of the competition reserved for 6-to-7-year-old horses in a starting field of 45 riders. Eighteen horses and their riders finished the track without penalty, and a jump-off at 130-135 cm decided on the ranking.
The Romanian Constantin Cojocariu on Handyman took first place and Croatian Andrija Hrogovic on Incognito Z finished second. The best Hungarian rider Péter Szuhai claimed third place on Chilling Out, ahead of Ádám Faluhelyi and his horse Eldoctro. Benjamin Andirkó on his home-bred Golden Gate Claramo captured fifth place, having been placed every day. The winner of Friday, László Tóth on Identity, finished sixth this time.

GÁBOR SZABÓ JR’S SECOND WIN
Next on the program of the Széchenyi István Memorial was the final of the Bronze Tour. In the 125 cm competition against the clock, 19 riders put down a clear round from a staring field of 65 entries.
This time Gábor Szabó Jr. posted a fantastic time again on Netto, followed closely by Annamária Zárug on Candy. Krisztián Búza who was placed in the semi-final as well, finished in the final on the podium in the saddle of Luxor. Ádám Faluhelyi closed fourth on Conchicco Blue PS.

SLOVAK GOLD IN THE U25
The program of the Széchenyi István Memorial went on with the final of U25. Twelve riders completed the difficult 135 cm track without penalty. They continued with a jump-off on higher fences.
Slovakian David Horváth guided Desanne Van TL to the fastest time and took victory. Boglárka Tóth rode very fast too, but this was only enough for the second place. Young riders’ National Team member Eszter Kalán finished third, and ahead also with double clear rounds was Adrián Rell on Charter. Sára Máriás finished fourth with a four fault score ahead of Lambertus Balaz on Casus.
