Top lineup of youngsters compete for victory on second day Global Future Champions
Today's competitions at Tops International Arena is as thrilling as the first day during the brand new Global Future Champions week for Young Horses with competitors from every country presenting their best future rides in Valkenswaard.

This mornings class a CSIYH2* for 7 year olds was topped by Colombian Dayro Arroyave. On board his talented gelding Vifdeva (v. Toulon) he speed-ed across the cours in 58.85 seconds beating runner up Max Thirouin and Jawel de Kwakenbeek (v. Cicero Z) by nearly a second. Third rider to cross the finish line was the Belgian Patrick Spits. Riding his Bellissimo Z around the course in a flawless round in 59.97 seconds.

During the class for 8 year old's is was Swedish Malin Parmler who stayed ahead of the competition by cruising around the 1.45m course in 63.40 seconds with Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve mare Dagma. With Australian James Paterson Robinson and Daylinde(v. Zirocco Blue) taking second place by marginally beating Dutch rider Mischa Everse and Dropshot, who were a small half a second slower.

French Max Thirouin faced  fierce Dutch competition from Geert-Jan Boer and Kars Bonhof during the 6 year old class over 1.30. But manage to take the victory home by producing a smashing clear round in 62.38 seconds with his Aurore de la Rose (v. Felton du Mont*charles de Gaul). Runner up Boer and Flower (v. Stakkato) followed in 64.47 seconds and Bonhof riding Verdi mare Fuji took third place.

With the Dutch closing in all on the competition all day long a win for the home team was long awaited. And is was during the last class for the 5 year old horses that 'team Oranje' delivered. In the speed-class is was Mischa Everse and Galidos who delivered the winning blow.  In a clear round of 60.03 seconds Everse and the Calido I stallion outmatched Boer who took  0.60 seconds longer to beat the course with Eldorado van de Zeshoek stallion Go Eldor. Malin Parmler, who already was victorious earlier this day, took home the third spot with Happy-Hom (v. Heartbeat)
