Top riders confirm for LGCT Madrid as CSIO5 La Baule is drawing the attention
The 106th edition of CSI Madrid Longines Global Champions Tour will take place from 19 to 22 May at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. With only six days to go, the details are finishing to receive the best pairs in the world. More than a hundred riders and 200 horses will take part in the 16 classes scheduled over the four days of competition, in which 730,000 euros in prize money will be distributed.

The top 30 in the world come to compete in Madrid, the sixth stage of the world's most prestigious equestrian circuit. Among them are 6 of the current Top Ten. The current leader of the ranking LGCT, Christian Ahlmann; The winner of the Grand Prix in the LGCT Hamburg last weekend, Ludger Beerbaum; the current Olympic champion: Steve Guerdat or the young Irish rider Bertram Allem, are some of its protagonists. It should be noted that among the riders who come to compete this year are the winners of the LGCT Grand Prix of Madrid in previous editions: Maikel van der Vleuten, Michael Whitaker and Luciana Diniz.

Meanwhile, in the CSI5 * Spain will be represented, among others, by the riders who will participate in the Olympic Games in Rio. Among them are Sergio Alvarez Moya, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar, Pilar Cordon and Manuel Fernandez Saro.
