Top three placing for Jake Aston in Small Grand Prix Animo Cup
In the Belgian Opglabbeek, a busy weekend has just been concluded with the Small Grand Prix. 77 combinations entered the show ring for this 1,25m class. Eventually it was the Belgian rider Brecht Goossens who took home the victory. He and his Nabab's Son 2 jumped to the victory in 28,84 seconds, not touching a fence. Goossens made it thrilling till the last second: for a long time, Jens Vandenberk was leading the standings, but in the end his 29,04 seconds weren't enough to beat Goossens. Vandenberk and his Felipe ended on second place. The British rider Jake Aston and Wise Guy completed the podium. They left the wood untouched and finished in 29,88 seconds.

Robbert Ehrens and Kien van Koekshof ended on second place. They jumped a clear second phase in 30,09 seconds. The young Belgian rider Alexander Housen completed the top five. He jumped a clear round with Ad Queen de la Cour and finished in 30,19 seconds.
