Two on two for Farrington in Rome

Kent Farrington is unstopable in Rome. It's a two on two for the American show jumper, now also winning the 1.50m jump-off class. A total of 9 horse-rider combinations placed for the jump-off. Eventually it was Kent Farrington and Waomi (by Lupicor) who set the fastest time. Luca Maria Moneta and Quava de Vains (by Robin II Z) followed in a second place. The pair finished in 35.87 seconds, only a difference of 0.12 seconds. Belgium's Pieter Devos and Equipharma Dax v Dabdijhoeve (by Desir du Chateau) finished third.

The top five was completed by Gerco Schröder and Glock's Zatanza in fourth. Fifth was Lorenzo de Luca aboard Zoe II. The full top five finished a double clear round. 3 of the 51 starters decided not to start in this class.
