He and Tradition de la Roque (f. Kannan) were the fastest combination in the jump-off. They beat all competition with a clear round in 35,84 seconds. Penelope Cruz and Capt. Brian Cournanne ended on second place. They rode a very fast, clear round in 37,05 seconds, but that wasn't enough to keep McLain from winning. The podium was completed by American rider Adrienne Sternlicht. She and Fantast (f. Toulon) finished in 37,44 seconds, leaving the wood untouched.
Mario Deslauriers (Amsterdam) and Caitlyn Connors (Express Blue Gp du Bois Madame) completed the top five.
