Winningmood says goodbye to the sport in Paris

Yesterday evening the stallion Winningmood vd Arenberg (f. Darco) said goodbye to the sport and to the public. The grey stallion had know many successes in the last years with the Portuguese rider Luciana Diniz. The 19-year old stallion says the sport farewell and will be fully used for breeding now.

Before Diniz took over the reins, the stallion was ridden by Ludo Philippaerts. Philippaerts won the World Cup of Mechelen on the back of the handsome grey. Shortly after, the Portuguese lady rider took over the reins and the rest is history... The stallion has been living in the stables of Diniz for more then ten years now. This duo won the CSI5* Grand Prix of Vienna and Madrid.

Yesterday Diniz rode a clear round in the first round of the CSI2* competition in Paris. She decided not to start in the jump-off anymore.
