World's best are heading to the Longines Masters in Paris

This week the second leg of the Longines Masters is heading for Paris, France.  “It’s really the event we wait for all year long...” These simple words spoken by Roger-Yves Bost didn’t go unnoticed during the press conference announcing the launch of the Longines Masters of Paris. The French Olympic Champion loves the atmosphere and professionalism of the event, as does his fellow teammates Pénélope Leprévost, Kevin Staut and Philippe Rozier, who will also be onsite sharing the ultimate experience with their loyal fans. The French clan will also include favorites like the world ranked #2 - Simon Delestre, as well as the winner of the 2015 Longines Grand Prix – Patrick Delaveau, but also Julien Epaillard, Jérôme Hurel, Timothée Anciaume and the young Maelle Martin.

Though the Frenchmen will have quite the challenge to try their luck in winning the Longines Grand Prix and thus their chance at winning a Super Grand Slam Bonus of 2,250,000 euros. Even more so as first in line to obtain this triumph is Germany’s Daniel Deusser, who will most definitely be present in Paris after already winning the Longines Masters of Los Angeles Grand Prix.

Spectators in Hall 5B of the Villepinte Expo Center will also have the opportunity to cross paths with other world champions like the current reigning world #1: Christian Ahlmann, Americans Kent Farrington and McLain Ward, the #3 & #4 worldwide, the former Olympic champion and bronze medalist in Rio, Canadian Eric Lamaze, the amazing Scott Brash, 2012 Swiss Olympic champion Steve Guerdat, Moroccan star Abdelkebir Ouaddar, European and World Champion Jeroen Dubbeldam for the 1st time in Paris, and living legend Ludger Beerbum – to mention only a few.

At the 2* Prestige Trophy level, participants like French Champion « Elite » Marc Dilasser, 2010 Team World Champion Olivier Guillon, young talents like double gold and silver medalist at the European Championship in 2015 and 2016, Camille Condé Ferreira, or American film actor-director Guillaume Canet are all eagerly awaited at the Longines Masters de Paris.

French stars Benjamin Castaldi and Nicolas Canteloup will take part in the 1* Invitational Trophy, as will Louise Rochefort and Eden Leprévost Blin Lebreton, the daughter of Olympic champion Pénélope Leprévost.

Among the absolutely not-to-be missed weekend highlights, starting with the Friday night, is the Longines Speed Challenge, veritable world championship of speed taking place over three continents. The next day, the Gold Cup presented by the Salon du Cheval de Paris/Ceneca and the spectacular Pro-Am for Charity will have the crowds on their feet. Finally, the weekend will finish up in style with the featured course, the Longines Grand Prix and the Super Grand Slam Bonus at stake.

Sport, culture and entertainment will reign supreme over the four days of the Longines Masters of Paris; the 2nd leg of the intercontinental series is without a doubt the ultimate year-end “rendezvous” of choice. A promise kept by the teams at EEM: bringing to life truly exceptional moments and festivities beginning December 1st at the Paris Nord-Villepinte Expo Center.
