Yuri Mansur speeded to victory in the 1.40m openingclass with his 8-year-old Lou Lou Vls. Together with Geert Van Loo's breeding product, Mansur speeded to victory in 64.96 seconds. With almost three seconds difference Denmark's Soren Pedersen followed as runner-up aboard the 9-year-old Catoki-zon Carlo M.
The stage was completed by local show jumping rider, Markus Brinkmann and Kingston vh Akenhof (Electro). In the saddle of his Belgian Warmblood-gelding Brinkmann was followed by Harm Lahde aboard Oak Grove's Vogelfrei (Verdi) and MAx Haunhorst (Chaccara).
