Andres Vereecke stays ahead of Howley and Allen in GP Qualifier Oliva

The main class of the day has just been jumped in Oliva: the qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix. 73 Participants took part in this class where they jumped a height of 1m45. They competed against each other and against the clock.

The victory went to Andres Vereecke. He rode d'Artagan RR (by Diamant de Semilly) clear to the finish in 62.92 seconds. He stayed far ahead of his first competitors. Richard Howley came closest with a time of 64.69 seconds. For this he counted on the KWPN stallion Fame (by Harley). Third place also went to an Irish rider: Harry Allen rode Pembroke (by Clarimo) to the finish in 64.92 seconds, leaving the wood untouched.

Andres Vereecke (In the Mood) and Michel Hecart (Simolo de la Roque Z) completed the top five in fourth and fifth place.
