Only three combinations managed to qualify for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m World Cup competition in Toronto. In the 'Hickstead Trophy' only Daniel Coyle and his trusted 12-year-old Legacy produced a double clear.
The Irish show jumping rider and his 12-year-old daughter of Chippendale Z jumped to victory leaving Daniel Bluman with the 11-year-old KWPN-mare, Gemma W (Luidam) in second. Aboard the mare, bred by A. Waldman Bluman referred Tiffany Foster to the third spot.
Last week Foster jumped to silver at the national Canadian championships. In this World Cup she and her 11-year-old daughter by Plot Blue, Northern Light completed the stage. The mare was before competed by Belgium's Thibault and Olivier Philippaerts.
Female compatriot, Ali Ramsay followed in a fourth place after one time penalty in the first round. Aboard her Bonita vh Keizershof Z (Bustique) Ramsay was followed by Rowan Willis with Blue Movie (Chaco-Blue).
