The FEI just announced that the European Championships of 2021 will not take place. The main reason for this decision is the postponing of the Olympics. The FEI therefore decided that the EC for all OIympic disciplines will be cancelled.
"It's not possible to organize these two big events so close to each other", Sabrina Ibanez of the FEI says. "We want to give all countries the opportunity to send their best riders to both events and that will not be possible if the EC take place. That's why we decided to focus on Tokio next year".
