German Ex-aequo win in 1.50m CHIO Rotterdam Prize

The countdown has started towards the Longines FEI Nations Cup in Rotterdam. Prior to this, a jump-off was held for Longines Ranking points, set 1.50m heigh. Eventually, two German combinations shared the win. Hans-Dieter Dreher and Katrin Eckermann both set the fastest clear time.

Nine combinations managed to stay clear in the jump-off. In the end, two combinations crossed the finish clear in 34.67 seconds. Hans-Dieter Dreher and Vestmalle des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet) shared the win with compatriot Katrin Eckermann riding Cascadello Boy RM.

Reigning Belgian champion, Jos Verlooy already won prizes yesterday and added a podium place today. Verlooy jumped to third place on the back of the 12-year-old FTS Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello), ahead of Harrie Smolders.

Smolders stranded in fourth place in front of his own audience in the saddle of Escape Z (Emerald). Compatriot Lars Kersten completed the top five in the saddle of 11-year-old Quatinka (Frh Quaid).
