The FEI has made a number of decisions this afternoon about the allocation of championships and finals. In the battle for the Eventing Championships Military Boekelo unfortunately missed out, the Championships were awarded to the competition in Avenches, Switzerland, which will take place from 22 to 26 September. The final of the FEI Nations Cup for the youth is hosted at De Peelbergen in Kronenberg. This event is scheduled from 23 till 26 September.
It is a pity that Boekelo is not hosting the European Championships, especially since Military Boekelo-Enschede would have loved to celebrate its 50th edition with a European Championship, but it is a nice boost for the Netherlands that the final of the Nations Cup for the junior jumpers will be held in Kronenberg, Limburg, at the beautiful location of De Peelbergen.
