Gregory Cottard on top in 1.50m CSI5* Top class in Valence

Tonight's 1.50m Longines Ranking Class at the CSI5* in Valence was an exciting class with a home win for Gregory Cottard aboard Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago x Si Tu Viens). Together with the 9-year-old SF-mare, Cottard was less than half a second faster than Jack Whitaker aboard Elucar V.E. (Cardento x Lupicor).

"I wanted to compete with a good rhythm today as I experienced some difficulties in the Jump-Off before. She responded very well and luck was on our side," Cottard stated after the finish.

Ireland's Bertram Allen placed third with Fts Killossery Konfusion (Siec Livello x Cruising). Allen and the 11-year-old gelding advanced on Emanuele Camilli with Chaccrouet (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet).

The top five was completed by Megane Moissonnier and Aramusse (Elan de la Cour).

Lorenzo de Luca on top in the 1.45m class.

Earlier today Lorenzo de Luca jumped to victory in the 1.45m class with the 9-year-old Malissa de Muze. "She is busy getting experience on this level. On her last competition in Dinard she performed very well, she is one to watch!"

Edward Levy followed with Sirius Black (Calisco du Pitray) while Mark Mcauley placed third aboard O'Hara Els (Ogano Sitte).
