Gudrun Patteet leaves all competition behind in CSI4* main class Bourg-en-Bresse

At the CSI4* competition of Bourg en Bresse, the highlight of the day was jumped just now: a 1m50 class of the CSI4* competition. It was a 'winning round' class: the best twelve combinations of the first round were allowed to compete again in the second round. Just jumping clear was not enough for this: as there were 14 clear rounds, two clear rounds fell out for the second round. In the second round it also came down to jumping the fastest, clear round. Gudrun Patteet succeeded brilliantly in that aim; she rode Sea Coast Mona Lisa van't Paradijs (by Bamako de Muze) clear round and stopped the chrono in 35.67 seconds, enough to clinch victory.

Jos Verlooy followed with FTS Killossery Konfusion (by Siec Livello) in second place. They also managed to record a clear round behind their name and clocked off in 36.19 seconds. Nicolas Delmotte was the third rider to manage to record a clear round behind his name. He counted on Citadin du Chatellier (by L'Arc de Triomphe) pm to jump a clear round in 36.27 seconds.

The rest of the top five got one jumping fault: Roger Yves Bost, riding Ballerine du Vilpion (by Baloubet du Rouet), did jump a very fast round (35.61 seconds) but a jumping fault relegated them to fourth place. Richard Howley and Mansini LTD (by Carrissini) completed the top five.
