Martin Fuchs: "Silver Shine is my second horse for the Olympics"

Martin Fuchs reached the number one position on the Longines ranking by the age of 27 (!!), he won the European Championship last year and he seems to become one of the biggest names in our sport ever. His top horse is Clooney 51 (f. Cornet Obolenksy) and will be 15 by the time the Olympics will start in 2021. Fuchs however states he may have another option for the Olympics.

"I didn't expect everything to happend so fast but I think that Silver Shine will be my second horse for the Olympics next year", the Swiss rider says. "It is true that he only stepped up to the CSI5* Grand Prix level last year but I think he has what it takes. This Califax gelding was ridden by my girlfriend Paris Sellon before. I started riding him last year and I really believe he can be my next top horse. He's 11 now, which is still young but I'm confident he will reach the highest level in the sport".
